Low Dose Cialis And Viagra Together

Cialis and Viagra can both be effective medications for managing erectile dysfunction (ED). However, they should never be mixed or taken at the same time without first consulting your healthcare provider. To know more, check out http://www.epotenzmittel.com/

Cialis typically takes 30 to 45 minutes to take effect; its full effects usually develop in two hours or later. Other ED medications like Levitra or Stendra may begin working within 15 minutes.

Dosage

Cialis (tadalafil) comes in tablet form and should be taken daily or as needed. Symptoms typically start appearing within 30 minutes; full effects could take up to 36 hours. You can take this medication with or without food, and the maximum daily dosage should not exceed 20 mg (nothing more has been studied yet). Cialis may interact with certain nitrate medications as well as some other drugs; you should notify your physician of all other medications you are currently taking, as Cialis should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Cialis works by inhibiting PDE5, which relaxes blood vessels and muscles in the penis to produce an erection and ease symptoms of BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia). Although Cialis and Viagra both function by blocking PDE5, their mechanisms differ considerably: Viagra was approved first by the FDA as a PDE5 inhibitor with increased blood flow to the penis; Cialis requires taking approximately an hour prior to sexual activity to work as intended.

As this can cause an unexpected drop in blood pressure or priapism, it is wise to wait at least 36 hours between taking Viagra and Cialis simultaneously.

Side effects

Cialis is a phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that works for both ED and BPH by blocking PDE5, increasing levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate, and, therefore, blood flow to the penis. Furthermore, blocking PDE5 relaxes smooth muscle tissue in both the prostate and bladder to decrease symptoms and vice versa.

Taken once daily, this medication typically lasts 36 hours on average before needing to be born again, though taking multiple PDE5 inhibitors together could result in prolonged erections lasting over four hours – considered a medical emergency.

Studies conducted between Cialis and Viagra show it to be more effective at treating ED; however, both medications may cause side effects, including painful erections, headaches, flushing, dizziness, indigestion, chest pain, or low heart rates.

People should not take Cialis with certain medical conditions, including cardiovascular issues and a history of stroke or bleeding in the brain or stomach. Furthermore, when combined with medications for chest pain, such as nitrates (which reduce blood pressure), the drug could lead to dangerously lowered blood pressure levels, causing further medical issues for individuals taking kidney medication; low doses might need to be given, or monitoring by medical practitioners may need to increase. Because Cialis may interact with numerous drugs as well as supplements and herbs you are using, you should inform all medical practitioners regarding all medications taken over-the-counter, over-the-counter, and supplements/herbal remedies being used alongside Cialis use so they may adequately monitor for possible interactions among all medicines taken and herbs used alongside it.

Precautions

Viagra has been proven highly effective at treating ED in clinical trials. A 50 mg dosage resulted in improved erections for about 74% of participants who took it via its effects on an enzyme known as PDE5. If taken at too high a dosage level, however, potential side effects include headaches, nasal congestion, flushing, and back pain.

Cialis is a longer-acting medication than Viagra, acting by blocking the breakdown of phosphodiesterase type 5. Although its effects can last up to 36 hours, a daily dosage is required in order to work effectively – for best results, it should be taken on an empty stomach for optimal effectiveness and in the morning on an empty stomach to minimize stomach ulcer risk. A history of stomach ulcers or bleeding issues could increase your risk with Cialis treatment, so it’s wise to consult your physician prior to beginning therapy.

If you take nitrates for cardiovascular conditions like angina, do not combine Cialis with them, as their interaction could result in a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Furthermore, pulmonary hypertension patients should avoid taking medications like Riociguat (Adempas), which interact with Cialis, to produce similar effects as this could also cause dangerously reduced pressure levels.

Ask your doctor about all medications and supplements you are currently taking, such as vitamins and herbs. Some can interact with Cialis, making the drug less effective or leading to serious side effects like priapism.

Warnings

Cialis and Viagra both work similarly, so taking both at once can be dangerous – even at low doses – because their effects on organs overlap, sending similar chemicals directly to your brain, leading to side effects worse than when taken individually. This is particularly dangerous if you already suffer from heart conditions or take medications designed to treat them; for example, taking both can cause dangerous drops in blood pressure, potentially harming heart tissue while prolonging an erection (priapism), damaging penis tissue permanently preventing future attempts at getting an erection altogether.

If you have a deformed penis or Peyronie’s disease, consult with your physician prior to taking Cialis. It can increase the risk of having prolonged erections lasting more than 4 hours which may cause pain and damage to your penis, leading to reduced sexual desire or eventual erectile dysfunction later.

If you are taking Cialis, it is wise to refrain from simultaneously taking Viagra or another PDE5 inhibitor like Levitra; Cialis can take up to 2 hours for its peak effect to take hold in your body, whereas these other ED pills only last a few hours at best. In addition, taking Cialis at bedtime may interfere with restful slumber; instead, take it as needed and on an as-needed basis.
