History
Van Dam Nordia, founded in Holland and operating as a longstanding family business since 1881, stands as the epitome of generations of experience and expertise. Beginning by building commercial crafts before transitioning to pleasure boats in 1908 and finally abandoning wood altogether for aluminum to construct yachts of 50 feet to 100 feet lengths in 1956 was a pivotal turning point.
Over time, the company expanded exponentially, earning itself an unrivaled reputation for luxury, comfort, and performance. Furthermore, their brand became well known for exceptional craftsmanship as well as their ability to tailor yachts according to client requests.

Family-owned and operated, it still serves from its historic site, which dates back to 1600. Yachts were designed and engineered at Van Dam Nordia before being expertly handcrafted to their highest standard by skilled artisans.
VAYU, one of Robin Ten Hoope and Van Dam Nordia Performance Cruiser 70 designs by Dokar Yachts of Istanbul, is currently under production and on its way to its first beneficiary owner. Lightly used but fully equipped, she offers significant cost savings versus new custom-build projects and also benefits from being registered under the Jersey flag for maximum market flexibility.

Construction
Van Dam Nordia, one of the oldest Dutch shipyards, dates back to 1600 when its predecessor company, Helling, was operating, later becoming known as Van Dam Nordia.
Van Dam Nordia’s shipyard on Aalsmeer’s Ringvaart canal boasts 30 highly trained employees dedicated to innovation and quality craftsmanship who specialize in designing and building custom sail and motor yachts to customer specifications. Maintenance
Van Dam Nordia Yacht Yard has remained busy designing and building new yachts as well as refitting them extensively, such as with the 70′ MY White Princess last week, which went through several projects such as refurbishing her teak deck, repainting, and maintenance work on her navigation instruments.
After decades of designing and building luxury sailing yachts, Van Dam Nordia has announced its entry into all-aluminum motor yacht construction. These motor yachts will adhere to the same stringent quality standards set out in their premium sailing yacht designs while being branded under their Van Dam Nordia name.
This 2006-launched Nordia 100 Traditional is one of the world’s most stunning examples and has been extensively cruised throughout each summer season in the Mediterranean since 2006. She offers comfortable accommodations for up to six guests plus two crew.
As part of her extensive refit in 2016, the owner decided to upgrade several systems and add extra details, creating an incredible cruising gem. Her spacious saloon and fully equipped galley make her an ideal place for relaxing and entertaining alike.
