Wendy Swindle Packey passed away peacefully at ORMC Hospital in Orlando, Florida, from injuries she sustained from a car accident on January 7th, 2023. A resident of Center Hill and owner of Small Town Roots Salon and Spa in Mascotte, Florida, Wendy was an accomplished professional hairstylist who loved her family dearly. Survivors include Keith Packey of Center Hill; sons Jake Stancil (Hannah) and Trevor Packey (Hannah); daughters Mackenzie Mangrum and Makayla Packey, and many other family members; funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.

Jake Stancil of Center Hill and Hannah Packey (Mackenzie Packey’s husband) of Winter Garden; Mackenzie Mangrum of Center Hill with Elijah Mangrum as Elijah’s godson; Taylor Packey with Austin from Clermont; Makayla Yarbourgh, who married Jeremy from Center Hill are her survivors. She leaves behind two brothers, Bobby Swindle Jr and Billy Swindle of Groveland, Penny Johnson (and her husband Marc Johnson of Winter Garden), as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews whose lives she touched adoringly, especially Eliana Victoria Mangrum, who will always refer to her as Mimi.
Born September 23rd, 1972, and raised in Ocoee by her parents Debra Swindle and Bobby Swindle Sr, she was an accomplished small business owner who loved her family above all else in this life. All will greatly miss her.
