What type of phone do you have?
The apps, photos, videos, music, and contacts on your phone reveal a lot about your interests and habits. Whether it’s a photo of family and friends, a landscape masterpiece, or a selfie capturing a critical moment, the things on your phone speak to your priorities, values, and cherished memories.
Smartphones are not all created equal. Some are more recognizable than others, like Apple’s iPhones, which have a unique look and feel to them. But other phones, such as Android devices, can be rugged to distinguish from one another.
If you’re unsure what type of smartphone you have, the easiest way to find out is by going into your phone’s settings. From here, you can easily see what kind of device you have, as well as other helpful information like the model name and number. For older phones with removable batteries, you can also usually find this information on a sticker on the back of the battery. Alternatively, you can use Google’s “What’s my Phone” app to identify your device quickly. This is especially helpful if your smartphone is unfamiliar to you.
